WHY I’M RUNNING
I am a wife, mother, and business owner proud to call Harford County home. Like many families, we chose this community because of its strong schools and dedicated educators.
As a parent — and an advocate for my neurodiverse sons — I have seen firsthand how important inclusive education, individualized support, and open communication are to student success. Every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow.
Through those experiences, I have also seen the dedication of the teachers, specialists, and school leaders who work every day to support our students. Their commitment to helping children succeed is one of the greatest strengths of our school system.
Professionally, my background in operations and financial consulting allows me to approach board service with a focus on accountability, transparency, and thoughtful decision-making. Strong schools require both responsible stewardship of public resources and meaningful investment in students, educators, and programs. I believe our community deserves clear, responsible budgeting that prioritizes classroom needs while maintaining transparency and accountability to taxpayers.
Board service requires thoughtful oversight and clear accountability to the community. Decisions should reflect the needs and values of our local families while remaining grounded in facts and focused on what is best for students.
Our schools should remain focused on educating students and supporting teachers, not becoming places for unnecessary political conflict.
At the center of every decision should be one guiding principle: what is best for students.
